Great Performance at B.C. track and field championship

Congratulation goes to all our club athletes, who represented universal athletics club at the B.C. track and field championship,held on July 15th-17th in Coquitlam and captured 12 medals in total (5 gold 6 silver and 1 bronze).Chitraj Dosanjh (14 M) won two Gold in shot put and discus throw, Sabrina Nettey (open W) won 100m with the time of 12.14sec and silver in 200m with her seasonal best in 24.28sec, Gagan Nijjar (14 W) won gold in 100m(13.29sec) and silver in 200m (27.49sec persnal best) Avneet Nijjar(15w)won gold with the great throw of 12.25m in shot put,Tarin Dosanjh(open M) came 2nd in 100m with time of 11.54 sec and came 4th in 200m,23.31sec his seasonal best,Jasmine Gill(15 W)won two silver medals in 800m(2.20.30sec) and in 1200m(3.47.52sec with her personal best),Paul Pooni (jr M)won bronz in 400m(51.04 sec personal best)in 200m he came 5th also with his Pb(23.54sec,Simran Gill(14 w)5th in 200m(28.30sec),Hameet Dhillon(youth M) 6th in 200m(23.58sec)and 9th in 400m (53.14Sec)in both events he sets his personal best,Rosy Mahal(jr W) is 5th in800m,Lily Mahal(youth w) 11th in800m and Daisy Mahal(14 W) came 8th in 800m .
